ALBANY -- What does a crabby queen, a mute king, a push-over prince, an over-the-top princess and a pea have in common? The fact that these, combined with humor and music, will be in Albany High School's upcoming production of 'Once Upon a Mattress.'
Set during the medieval times, Prince Dauntless is growing older and has yet to find a princess. His mother, Queen Aggravain, is none to eager to marry off her sweet baby boy. Princesses have been coming from far and wide to wed the Prince, but all seem to fail the Queen's required tests�until along comes Princess Winnifred, who's gregarious personality is just what the kingdom has been searching for�
