At a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, Company Officials opened the doors of its newest Denver flagship Furniture Row Shopping Center(R) on N. Broadway to the public, with an advertised Grand Opening slated for Friday, Nov. 23. The 93,500-square-foot Center at I-25 and 58th houses Sofa Mart, Oak Express, Bedroom Expressions, and Denver Mattress Company and replaces the four separate stores previously located in the area.

'We are very excited to open this flagship destination Furniture Row Shopping Center here in Denver,' said President Tom Faulkner. 'We've had stores in this neighborhood for many years, but this is the 'Broadway Premiere' for our Furniture Row Shopping Center retail presentation. We brought the expertise we've developed over 30 years and through 330 store and center openings across the country back home to Denver's own Broadway. We think the people of this community will feel the excitement when they walk through the doors.'

As with all Furniture Row Shopping Centers, separate store fronts will allow customers to pinpoint their destination and shop for the products they need with the help of sales specialists trained in the product lines specific to each store. What sets the N

Streetman used to have the best encampment in Seattle, he said. Even the police said so.

He had a mattress and a little rug and lived somewhere amid the brushes and trees in the city, until one day the police -- the same ones who complimented him on it -- took the mattress and the rug away to clear out the encampment.

He thought it was rude when a reporter asked him where he camps now.

'It's not a camp -- it's a home,' he protested. 'Would you tell me where you live?'

Told where the reporter lives, he said, 'Then would you give me the keys to your place?'
